click on Sonar 8.5 Icon... nothiong happens???

for some strange reason when I click on the Sonar 8.5 icon nothing happens.  I have to restart my PC to log on to Sonar.  This is the third time in 2 days that this has happen.  I hate this b/c it takes my PC right at 10 mins to restart. Even tried to log in as administrator and from the windows menu-NOTHING . I can log on fine with the 8.3.1.    What am I doning worng?

    Make sure you don't have a midi device that is hanging up the process.  IOW, not on when it should be.  Sometimes it's a midi driver that won't let go and you have to power the device off and then back on.

    are you also using that same pc online? I've had a few issues with firefox of late doing ODD things with the mouse. sometimes I can't log onto here and I have to use IE..

    it might be something in the background that your running also causing issue.

    I did have the problem Dave mentioned with the axiom when I first started using sonar, maybe he had it also? hehe

    Yeah M-Audio MIDI devices are famous for this.

    And Fog, thats why I gave up on Fire Fox. Always seems to cause strange issues for me.
    Been using Chrome for the last month or two and love it. Basic, stripped down and faster then Fire Fox, Opera, Safari or IE.
