clip pane horizontal zoom resets to very small SOLVED

Hello All-
 
Every time I open an existing project, the clip pane horizontal zoom resets to put the measures very close together. I need to use the horizontal zoom tool to zoom out so I can work. If I save/close/reopen the project, back to squished-together bars. Sonar never used to do that. Am I missing a setting that locks the bar width upon saving?
 
Still on SPlat, will be going to CbB after current project, but this is annoying and would like to fix until then.

    SOLVED...maybe. I think this is part of the "Lens" business. I created a new lens using the layout I want, and it seems to persist upon closing/reopening. Not crazy about that, but good enough until I go to CbB.
