conflicker c computer virus warning

For those that haven't kept up with the news, we have yet another computer virus/worm set to spring on 4/1/2009. From what I've read this is one of those that is expected to turn machines into zombies and try to get people to buy malware masquerading as good stuff. This version is said to be worse than previous versions with the same root name and disable anti-virus programs's attempts at removal. I know none of us has their daw on the net, right? But best to watch out with the machines we DO use to go online with.

    What I heard is that it's going to lookup some new instructions on the 1st..... advice was to run a viruse scan after updateing the virus sig, and if in doubt.... leave the computer off tomorrow...or at least disconnected from the net.

    I don't know if that will help....
