continuous MIDI expression pedal?

Is there such a device?  I would like to be able to change patches on my keyboard without moving the expression pedal (that I use for MIDI volume) but not have the volume reset to default for the new patch - I want the volume at the same level as the previous patch.  continous MIDI from the pedal is the only way I know of to do this, but I can't find a pedal that's capable of continuous midi - I might just be looking for the wrong search words.

Beagle, what keyboard are you using? I may be missing something here, but are you using a board with patches onboard that are resetting the volume when you change patches, OR... using the board as a controller for soft synths or modules and the volume is resetting there???
either way there are some midi messages either CC7 or 11 that are being sent as default value 0 ,, something in the setup needs to be looked at..or filtered are you using GM patches

all my boards I could program the level of the patch including splits multis per patch

    hey MM -
I'm using my MO6, I set the output volume slider on the MO6 to full up, then I use the expression pedal plugged into the "foot controller" switch to control the volume.  at the end of a song I might fade the volume down 1/2 way for example.  then I change patches for the next song.  but on the next song, the volume is at full until I move the pedal again - even if it's just barely moving it.

I assumed that meant the patches always start up at full CC7 default (either 100 or 127, not sure which default is) and that it wouldn't change until it received a MIDI signal from the pedal and that since the last known position wasn't "known" then it starts out at default until it receives something on the new patch.

in other words, I want the next patch I select to start out at the same volume I left the pedal at LAST.
