converting mac wave files to pc?

Hi guys! I have to import a project from Mac into my pc. Does anyone know of a free converter I can download to help me do this? I have already downloaded and tried two free ones but neither worked. Anyone had this problem? Thanks

    Welcome to the forum!
AFAIK .wav-file is a .wav-file. There are no Mac-.wavs and pc-.wavs, are there??
What kind of project is it? Have you used SONAR with Bootcamp on a Mac or what? Your question is very confusing, because it does not tell us anything we need to know.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

Ok, another studio used Digital performer on a mac to produce two album projects. The client wanted me to remix those two projects. So I went to the studio and the engineer loaned me a hard drive with the projects on it so I could pull them off. Problem is: I couldn't get them into my computer because it's formatted for pc. SO...I found a Mac formatted Hard Drive that I could pull the projects into. Now, I have the files in a portable hard drive and can read them from my computer, but when I try to IMPORT them into a New Project, it throws up some error code. I downloaded Foxtab Audio Converter but it doesn't seem to be converting any of the files. Hope that helps. Is this the best process foro what I'm trying to do?

The project files are proprietary to ... whatever program the project was recorded on.
You need to find the individual .wav files within the project and import them into SONAR one at a time. If that's possible.
You also can't open Cakewalk .cwb and .cwp files in Pro Tools, for instance.
If you can't find or get to the .wav files in the project, you'll have to get the customer to provide you with the raw tracks in .wav file format. Unless there is a converter out there somewhere.

... now that i've actually READ the subject line...

A WAV should be a WAV should be a WAV.  I've never heard of a WAV or MP3 that was OS-reliant.

I thought Macs used an AIF file format. It can be converted to a WAV using any number of tools available on the web.
