cymbals like this?

Listen to the cymbals in the first 13 seconds of this (oh I can't post a link)
It's Cinderella - Nobody's fool   You can search it on Youtube.
Is there a way to do this with the step sequencer?  If so can anyone tell me?

If you mean the cymbal "flam", it might be hard/impossible to do with step sequencer (I don't know much about Step Sequencer, I don't use it), but in Piano Roll it's easy if the drum software you're using has what it takes.
I'm at job and these PC loudspeakers are very poor, so maybe I misunderstood.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

Yeah the continuous cymbal roll, where I can hear it building slowly louder.

There might be one ready among SDs MIDI-loops (I assume SD comes with them like all other drum VSTs)?
If not, it's easy to do in Piano Roll, as I mentioned.

In SD, Hammer on your keyboard like a pneumatic drill. Don't quantize. That is my only suggestion other than downloading a sample from somewhere.

I'll have to look at see if it has something ready (eyes rolls back in head).  It has a ton of pre-recorded "grooves" as they call it, literally comes on 5 DVD's.  Unfortunately they are labeled like, fill1, fill2, fill3, fill17,fill18 or beat1, beat2, beat3, beat15, beat16, beat17.  I'd say hundreds to go through.  I think I'll post something over on their forum and see if maybe anyone knows.
    Thanks for the help
