Hey i`ve mad my own desk to fit the room and space
I looks like its going to work well :_)

This is working for me for the moment. The quality of the desk is horrible. Got it for around $200 at Staples. Have had most of the parts replaced already because they are easily worn off. I'll be building my next one myself.



I built the keyboard stand myself with a design from RackCreations.com

i built this desk for just such a purpose... notice how the consol is sunk into the desk... there is a small rack on the table for future fancy inserts and a full rack on the bottom right for the io and stuff and the computer sits nicely on the bottom right.  it measures aprox.  6.5 feet x 3 feet deep.  it cost me about $150.00 canadian.  if you want plans for it let me know...  if your handy with tools that is.  i found all the desks out there looked like and were cheeply made.

love that overhead space... cool idea.  i have a similar idea for a large rolling rack.....  i smell a Fello closet Treki...  I'm planning to have large control playback spks overhead in fron of my control window so this idea wouldn't work for me... but it's very cool.  my strudios not quite as far ahead yet... but soon.  got an atb on the way, once i see how it fits in my space i'll finnish the control room, and the sound booth.

ok just got it this afternoon ARX drum on it ,and a vs 100 (absolutly crazy) so i ended up like this for the moment ....

Hey Alex - any word on a desk specifically made for the 700c? If it were an argosy, I would definitely pick it up.

just checked... to date there is not a desk/workstation specifically designed for the 700   i made this one... so far the only one i've seen that really accounts for the console so it's not in the way and still functional.   it's pretty big though so it wouldn't be good for a smaller space.

great space though zo...  love the foam.  and if you go insane, your covered.  they won't even need to move you... just strap on the strait jacket...lol

Ive connected 3 screens to spread out Sonar 8.5.2 on my newly buildt computer and it wors flawlessly

Ive got two graphic cards 2 x dvi + 1 x hdmi. 2 X ATI 5750 
 
With this configuration you can use up to 6 screens at the same time. 
  
Each graphic card (ATI 5750) are able too run up too 3 screens
Youll need an display port connector  too do this (thats maybe an overkill)
 
I think two displays are enough for sonar, but its convenient to have one ekstra screen  or two for plugins and the vs700R CONTROLLER ETC. Nice 

All very inspiring... hope to have my own 700V here in a week or two then the rework of the desk begins.
