data recovery program for deleted sonar projects

Yep, I dumped (deleted then emptied recycling bin Windows 7)some sonar projects by mistake with most tracks recorded wav files. Lots of programs out there anyone know the best one for audio and sonar files?
P.S. and yes I am stressed as hell.
sorry for the double post and the misspelling

I think if all you deleted was the CWP file then the audio tracks might still exist. Look for the audio folder. Open Sonar and look under global options check the path for audio files. Then all you'll have to do is start a new project and import the tracks.
The data is still on your hard drive , just blocked out as re usable sectors. Next time windows needs room it will overwrite the files so don't use the computer until you see if it is possible, I think it is, Don;t ask here ask on a computer forum, Google it.
If your files where not on Drive C then it will be easier to do.

Glad you had covered yourself man. That's would be pretty harsh otherwise. Great, quick tool I use for backing up is Microsofts, SyncToy (free to download) and really excellent. After the initial back-up, subsequent ones are really nice and quick :)

Theres a new thing that just came out.. Its called backing up. You should try it some time. Its a life saver.
Hard drives are very very cheap and CD's and DVD's are even cheaper. It takes a few extra seconds at the end of each session or project to back it up..

Yeah, I hate when people do that.  The big "Never mind - figured it out.  Bye!"

...god forbid he/she return the favor and help anyone ELSE out who might need their ass saved in future.

I use Recuva. It's free, fairly easy, and seems to work great.
