delay between hitting a key on midi controler & Hearing the sound!
Hello All, All of a sudden today I noticed a short 1 second or so delay between hitting a key on midi controler & Hearing the sound! This did not do this the last time I used sonar. Do you have any helpful ideas on what setting in the properties changed Or that I may have accinentially changed to cause this? Thanks for your input, Bruce

Auto5starz . . . sounds like a soundcard latency setting, which can be adjusted in Sonar's preferences. Usually it's found in preferences - driver settings - mixing latency. Other than that, it's hard to help further, unless you show us some more or your system specs, or soundcard settings eg . . . ASIO, WDM

All playback latency seems to be ok, there is just a lag in time from keyboard key contact & actually hearing the sound! It used to be instontainious.

Pretty common for playback to sound normal, but what you seem to be describing is delay in the soundcard input signal, this is where you will notice the latency settings.

Some idea of your system specs would help as well. Put it into your signature line so you only have to do it once!
