display synth automation on multiple tracks

Example:  I have stylus rmx which has 8 audio outputs.  Is there a way I can have seperate automation on each of these channels.  I use stylus rmx frequently and I use a ton of automation.  It makes it hard to keep organized when all synth parameters show up on 1 track.  It would be great if i automated the filter on channel 1 it would show up on audio output 1.  If i automated release time on track 2 automation would show up on 2 and so on.

Is this not possible.  Seems like you should be able to do this.  I have looked all through the reference manual and Scott's book and just can't figure it out.

Have you tried to do it but, without success?  I do not know how RMX works but if it behaves as a multitimbral VST then it should work for some of what you want to do.  If you insert(midi track) and assign a track's output to the RMX and  select channel 1 you should be able to control all the assignable paramaters for that channel(1) from the new empty track. You could insert as many tracks pointing to Channel 1 as you want.  However any controls that affect all tracks equally would need to be assigned as omni and depending on how it is setup you may only be able to do those from 1 track.  Some plugin will default only to channel 1 if you select "none" as the output channel.

I have 8 midi tracks pointing to stylus on ch 1-8 each controlling an individual channel in stylus.  I have 8 audio outputs that correspond to the 8 channels.  In the synth rack I can choose to display automation on any of those channels but only on one.

While you can't have different automation on different tracks, which would certainly be cool, you can move a synth's automation to any track you want it to be on. To do this, go to the Synth Rack, select the Synth, and select the desired track from the small drop down list at the top of the SR.

Or, watch the latest Go Deeper - Browser video on CakeTV and it will show you how.

thanks seth...would def. be a cool feature especially in instruments like stylus where there are so many parameters you can automate.
