    yes, the audio engine being 64bit is not the same thing as the 32bit windows.  the 64bit double precision audio engine refers to how numbers are handled in computations.  32bit/64bit windows is not the same thing.

    it doesn't matter - it applies to all versions of sonar since 6 (or was it 5?) when sonar introduced the 64bit double precision audio engine.  like I said, it's about how sonar handles computations, not about the hardware access that the operating system does (which is what the 32 vs 64bit version of windows means).

    Beagle is correct.

    I've been doing internal renders at 64 bit depth since 6.2.1

    CbB, Platinum, 64 bit throughout

    cool, i'll have to try turning it back on again.

    seems like the first time i used it, the program crashed half way thru the render.

    Switch off fast bounce if it crashes, see if that helps
