does X1 have better tool for changing vocal bpm?

i have 8.5.3 producer and am thinking on upgrading to X1 producer. just wondering if X1 has a better tool for changing vocals bpm.
I heard that 8.5.3 wasn't as good as logic for that as logic had a tool that u could add a whole song length of a pella or vocal and simply change the bpm to match the tracks bpm with a press of the mouse. in my experiences with 8.5.3 and audio snap it was a hard process in which i had to chop up the vocals and strech them and it was really a hard thing for me to do.  has x1 made it easy to do so and does it compare to logic in changing vocal bpm? Do they have this tool yet. thanks

As far as I know, the process is pretty much the same in X1. I don't use Audio Snap much b/c I didn't really like the results it gave me and it was a bit cumbersome to use as you stated. I know some people were saying that Audio Snap actually was functioning better in 8.5.3. However, I'm not sure if that was fixed or if that's still the consensus since all the patches have dropped.

For changing vocal bpm I use Sound Forge and since it integrates w/ Sonar it's a pretty simple process. There's the time stretch plugin in Sonar but I've found that can be hit or miss and the Sound Forge time stretch tool seems to give better results in my experience.  It also has many more options/parameters such as the option to stretch based on bpm as well as percentage.

I cannot compare to logic becaue I havent used it, but my tool of choice for bmp changes is the time stretch cakewalk plugin.

It is based on perentage,so you have to do the math, which is not that hard.

The good thing is , the algorithm ont he time stretch is mpex and is of quite good quality compared to most.
