does x3 elements inclue prochannel functionality?

as the title, does x3 elements include prochannel functionality? i.e, can i load  pre-x3 pc mods on the basic/no-name version of x3?

    The basic version of X3 does not include Prochannel refer to this help page http://www.cakewalk.com/D...Req=ProChannel.01.html

    thanks, i was looking at http://www.cakewalk.com/products/sonar/versions.aspx but it's not obvious there
