"dpmeter" by TBProAudio - comments please?

Hi, just wondering what people's opinion about this plugin are? its free but is any good?

    I find it useful on the master bus, especially for vocal-centric work like a podcast, for achieving the desired loudness level and for balancing loudness across multiple works.
     
    Edit: Thanks for asking. Caused me to return to the d/l page, where I noticed that it's been updated (from v1.4 to v1.43)!

    An excellent tool, perhaps the best freebie meter out there. Does a lot of what iZotope Insight does as far as level and EBU metering, but for free (vs. $500).


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    There's a thread on the Reaper forum that was started and is actively updated by TBProAudio. It's only 2 pages long, so you can trace the history of the plugin. You'll see that the dev is VERY responsive. Speaks highly of the organization!
