drag and dropping files into Platinum

Since upgrading i find that i can no longer drag and drop a wav file from windows file manager into a project. It's giving me the "circle with the line through it" symbol. it always worked before. I looked through preferences but can't find anything pertaining to this. Am i missing something?

    Jimtzu,
I ran into this as well. It's probably because you are opening Platinum in Administrator mode. It's a file permission thing. Andrey B explained it in a similar thread I started: http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3156819. Does that work?

Yes that was it.  Wondering if that's something to be fixed since it's recommended that we open with the CC.
Thanks for the heads up southpaw

Don't know if this will work for you, but I made the Desktop one of the drop-down options from SONAR's browser. Because the browser is bi-directional, you can drag files to and from the desktop. If you turn off "Preview at Host Tempo" that speeds up the browser somewhat.

One of the reasons I prefer using the browser is the label toward the bottom that shows the sample rate and such.
