dropouts on Sony VAiO VPCF 1390 X

I  bought this laptop and Sonar X1 pro at the same time.  I can't get it to stop with the dropouts.  Went to msconfig and stopped every thing that looked like it was running needlessly.  Then went to Task Manager and stopped all processes that I thought would help.  Nothing helped.  Using Asio and can't change the present delay.  Help!

Disabling wireless is a start and specifying specs including what kind of audio interface you're using helps also.
(Hopefully not using and expecting much from the Realtek integrated card)
