drum pane question

Hey folks. Learning a lot these past few weeks. Did the upgrade to X3b (never really had problems with X2a, but I'm still new to this game), and discovered Addictive drums....love it. So I started leaning how to use drum maps and the drum pane in PRV. It's working good, but every time I open a project in which I've used the drum pane, I have to open it (the drum pane) again to be able to see it in PRV. I was wondering if I am doing something to prevent X3 from saving the project with the drum pane in view in PRV? Thanks.

Not sure if it's related to being in a locked screenset or not - try unlocking your current SS, save/close/re-open - see if that helps.

If it doesn't, it's probably due to the "quirkymess" of Drum Maps. They are extremely powerful and complex, but they do have one or two operational quirks.

I see this behavior, too (haven't checked it in X3 yet). So I just double-click the clip in the track view again, which shows the drum grid pane. Wish the screenset could remember the state of the pane...
