duel Pentium 4 processors down to 1?

I have duel Pentium 4 processors running @ 2.8ghs each.

I use Sonar6PE. And in recent days the CPU&Disk usage readout thing on the bottom tollbar has not been toggling between processor 1&2.

Is this Sonar not using both processors ?
Or did I just fry a processor?

Any and all help would be great !
THANKS

check to see if you've disabled it accidentally.  IIRC, for S6, it's OPTIONS>AUDIO>ADVANCED>USE MULTIPROCESSING ENGINE

Is it showing both processors? Does your computer show any problem with either core of the processor?

Mine don't always show both processors being used - meaning one is used more than the other, and at other times it is Windows tying up the processor for its own tasks (which have priority - you can not shut those interrupts out).

Usually it does not interfere with anything I am doing anyway (if your computer is running fine and nothing funny is on your computer - virus, some website messed with it somehow).

Can always check your files when you start up your computer and the hard disk empty sectors and such.

Is Sonar marked to use both processors? That has to be checked in the Audio Options.
