editing velocities in staff view

I recorded a organ part using sonar and a software by motu called Electric Keys. I don't think it is a motu problem though

Some of my chords I played only for one measure and 3 beats, so was going back thru in the staff view to change the duration. On the notes I change the duration to, when I play it back one note does not play, even though I have the velocity even up to 100.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Any fix, besides going back and playing the part?

For grins I just went into prv, and the velocites that I changed, are set to 1, and I had them set to 75 in staff view

Im not sure I understand your question.  if the velocity is set to 1 on any given note it probably won't trigger the softsynth, but it depends completely on the softsynth and how it interprets the note.

hey beagle, in staff view, I had changed the velocity to around 84, saved it, then later when I was still having a problem, I went into prv view, and that same note had a velocity of 1. I would figure if I change it in staff view, that would change it for the midi note itself.

ok, well, you're right it should have changed it to 84 and stayed there regardless of where you changed it.  does it do that every time?
