Passt alles wunderbar.
Vielen Dank
Gruß

"recorded notes are played too early Hello I wanted just a song can arrange with Cakewalk Music Creator 6 touch. The song (quietly falls the snow) is written in 3/4 time. So I clicked up in the time window "4/4", it opened a window and there I could then "Counting times per beat" a 3 enter and confirm with OK, then "3/4" stood up in the time window. Then I have a simple Waltz added with the step sequencer to I've also reduced to 3 bars. The whole extended, everything worked wonderfully. Then I played the accompaniment. When I wanted to mend then two mistakes, I noticed that the attacks do not exactly fit, but a few millimeters before the actually cycle were alle(!). When the play heard this "vorausspiel" also. I then turned off the company and wanted to play a more track on the basis of the first accompaniment track (playing in the bar), of course it was still ahead. OK, I thought, because I guess I have a latency problem. I chose the CreativeASIO drivers, since I also have a Creative SoundBlaster card. The thing is now, however: I have just tried the whole thing with a new project, hold the preset 4/4 beat and played with a drum to the beat: here everything works! Everything is in tact as it should (in fact that never even occurred to me, which I must also confess that I worked so far still not seriously, but recorded just one or two tracks "memory"). Now I'm a little perplext, how that could well be and what I can do about it, above all? There maybe does anyone know? Clock must then somehow have to do with the 3/4... That the recording somehow "changed"... In the game, I hear also no latency. Everything fits perfectly. Thank you very much Greeting"

I was to tired to write in English and hope that here were some german too ^^ The Problem is: I want to play an 3/4 walz. So I set in the Transportcontroller the "4/4" to "3/4". Then i use the Step-Sequenzer to made an easy Drum-Track. At next, i played the Bass-Track with an Piano Sound. Very Carefully. But when I want to play the next track i see, that Drums and Piano wasent the same "time". The Piano is just a little BEFOR the Drums.. When i now get off the drums and play the third Track with the Piano Track (for Tempo) this Track is BEFOR the Piano again! I Try to Quantisire (dont know the right word), but then the Notes will be much befor the have to be.. First i thought "Thats an ASIO-Problem". But i try a new Projekt in 4/4, and all works fine. So I think i do something wrong to say the Programm "I want to play an 3/4 Rhytm". I hope you can better understand than the "Normal translation" :D (Maybe i do hope much more, someone can help: Its an Christmas Song to Do :D )

I could read some of it, Herb, but not everything, so I used the online translator so I and others might be able to help. Anorak, It sounds like you're using different devices to play back your MIDI tracks and they are not in sync. What synth is the bass playing through? And the drums and bass?

The drums come from IK Multimedia SampleTank 2.5XL The Piano is an Alicia's Keys from Native Instrument (Kontakt 5 Player). Do you Think, thats an Problem? On Weekend - maybe Friday - I can try something else. maybe its a problem with the ASIO Driver? I have the CreativeASIO Driver selected. It was Timed at 50ms .. Maybe i have to use another Value? Maybe 10ms? At 1ms i get some noises..

Changing the latency for playback shouldn't matter. In fact it was once recommended to increase latency when mixing to lessen the processor's load. Try Freezing the synths. This temporarily bounces the synths to audio and removes the synths from processing. See if it sounds right.

OK... it's starting to make sense now. Yep, sounds like sync and latency issues. I would ask what sound card and driver you are using.

I use an Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer and the CreativeASIO Driver. Today i become a message by Steam, that i can crossgrade to Cakewalk Sonar X3 (normal edition) for only 33€ Maybe i take that chance? It's not for this problem, but the ezDrummer don't work with Music Creator but Sonar. And i think some more Features will sonar have, too ^^

Yes.... it's a good price to cross grade. I did a crossgrade to X1 and love it. On the latency/ sync issue.... that sound blaster and the driver is very likely the problem. Sound blaster (SB) cards have long been problematic in this area. You can try adjusting the buffers (increase them a bit) and adjust the latency (decrease it if possible) and see if the issue clears up any. If not, a better musical interface from Roland, Presonus, M-Audio, or Focusrite running true ASIO drivers will fix that latency issue.

The Problem is: Its not an "Music-Production PC", but an "Allround Gaming PC", with "Making Music sometimes".. And I don't have so much Money, to buy an 200-Euro (or more) soundcard, that is incompatible with games or SoundFXs.. (I have some Cards in the Past. One of them hasnt an Audio-out for my Speakers. Just Left and Right Outputs for an Mixer). Next Thing is: I see now, that the Sonar X3 on Steam is "Only English"... I'm from german and like the german Music Creator... So I want to know, if the Steam Version is in german too.. But maybe I have to start a new Thread, so more People see the Question.. beacause the Problem: I Hope i have the time to make some music tomorrow, so i can tryout the tips here ;)

I do not know anything about Steam but you can also purchase the X3 upgrade directly from the Cakewalk store.
