Okay, took me awhile to set aside time to listen...( I second(third) the notion that links to the other entries would be nice).

A & F for me sounded the most "electro" and I think were the best of the finalist .
N could have used some different mixing. the elements were not balanced for me- but this track has potential too.

I vote for track "A"...

I hope people will post more electronic music on this forum. I have only recently been exploring the online music communities and have found there is indeed a lot of talent out there. It would be nice to hear more electronic music here...Cheers everyone...

bump,

Bubblefish - have you set a final date for when the votes have to be in?

Then I guess we'll be able to see who was responsible for which tracks.

Is the top prize to be your apprentice

ok now thats the end of the voting process

we seem to have a clear winner getting over 50% of the votes casted.

1st place: track A : by saul stokes , mantary
2nd place: track N: by JUMP, superior conjunction
3rd place:track F : by lost member, audio duck.

although out of interest Track N won the judges vote being the only track to be selected by each judge to enter the finals. and being placed first by the majority of judges.

so i guess there is some merit in the two tier voting system cause now we have two winners

thanks to every one that took part contestants judges and voters.

especially petteri, jim , sonic and steve, and the 18 folks that bothered to enter tracks.

looking forward to next years

kieran

If you live the sacred and despise the ordinary,
you are still bobbing in the ocean of delusion

Kieran:

Thanks for the contest. I enjoyed the entries. And thanks for your avatar. Because of it, I researched Leo Strauss and rekindled a dormant love of philosophy. I'm reading a Brief Introduction to Kant currently in preparation for a study of Existentialist thought.

I guess you don't like Leo, due to the devil horns, but I think he has some good points. I don't like what is being done with his philosophy in the current political spectrum. It's sad, but philosophy that is ultimately for the individual too often is distorted to manipulate the masses.

Just a thought,

Jeff
