error message after attempting download of X3

I received the following error message at the end of my X3 installation. "unable to register the dll/ocx:regsvr32 failed with exit code 0x3."  I am using windows 8.1 64bit.

    Please check your Windows event viewer for a more detailed error message and paste the details here (right click the message, Copy, copy table).

    p.s. Is the issue whilst downloading or installing, I coundn't quite work that one out.

    Sell by date at 9000 posts. Do not feed.
    @48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.

    it now is downloaded and working. I don't know why it downloaded without the error message, but in this case ignorance is bliss!
