exporting project files

hi everyone, i need to send a project to someone who is not running sonar so they can do what they need to do, then send it back to me.
when i was running X-2 there was a process where i could send data files i.e. separate tracks to someone then he can download it to pro tools.
however, with platinum, i can not find anything about how to do this.
what i've tried so far is, save the project to a bundle file then put it on my desktop then send it via a file sharing service. my friend received the data but could not do anything with it.
so, can someone point me to a tutorial or a place in the sonar "help" files that can show me how to do this.
thanks so much
jp

You need to export as wave files, save in  a folder and send dropbox etc or zip it up.
You'll see all your export options when you choose the export dialogue.
It's actually much easier than it use to be to share files

    ....between different DAW's.

Bundle files are sonar files, that's why they don't work for him in protools.

Do a CTRL-A in TV to select everything.  In the export dialog choose tracks as the Source Category.
Enter a file name.  This will be prefixed on each tracks file name.  Click Export.

The result will be an individual file for each track.

I agree with all the above.
if you really want to help your buddy out, name the tracks in numerical order
numbering helps because he can drag/drop all the tracks and they will all be in order for the most part
(most DAWS do this). Also, (very important) bounce your tracks "Bounce to clips" if you have any tracks that have multiple clips per track.

I am a stickler when it comes to labeling and sorting tracks, especially when I send them to other musicians, producers, exc. you can see my methods of labeling tracks here in this thread.
    http://forum.cakewalk.com/Orginizing-Labeling-Audio-and-Midi-Tracks-m3448904.aspx
(I believe there is even a download link for my templates).

Obviously, you wont need to go that far, but its nice to have. future projects that have bullet proof track titles are easier to work with, doing re mixing, dragging in old tracks for remakes, exc.
