ezdrummer on sonar home studio 7
hi everyone , just curious if anyone is running ezdrummer on sonar home studio 7 ? i just purchased ezdrummer and have it installed but i am not getting any sounds from it....after i installed ezdrummer , i had to open sonar and go into tools and select the plugin mgr , i then chose options and had to manually add ezdrummer , after that i can choose an option at the bottom of the screen to insert soft synth , following the arrows over to ezdrummer it will give me insert soft synth options , i choose all synths audio output and it pulls up the synth rack . then i double click on that and it opens up ezdrummer , but when i click on the drums im not getting any sound ... not sure if im doing this right , i was following a few demos i saw on youtube but still not getting any type of sound . any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance !!!!

I don't have EZD, but most drum synths have to have a kit (or individual samples) loaded first.

EZD automatically loads the default kit. but my guess would be that you're running win7x64 bit? if so, make sure you've' downloaded and installed the latest update to EZD and the kits. what you're describing is exactly what happens if you have not updated EZD software and you're running on 64bit OS.

Round up the usual suspects; check that your input in the track is set to the one your guitar is plugged into. Check Options>Audio>Drivers that the right driver is selected and that the Recording Timing Master is set to your recording device.

Please put your system and soundcard specs and driver mode in your signature. Otherwise yo must rewrite them every time you ask a question. That info is necessary when trying to solve problems.
