Anyone using the new Akai LPD 8 and/or LPK 25 in MC5?

I just ordered the Akai LPD 8 and LPK 25. I am just wondering if any has been using any of these in MC5 and how do they work? I will also post my own review and let every one know how its works once I get every thing up and running. The LPD 8 will be in my hands this Thursday and the LPK 25 will be in my hands in 2 weeks.

I just thought I wold ask.

the LPK 25 should be fine - any MIDI keyboard controller should work just fine as long as the drivers for the USB work with the operating system you have.

for the LPD 8, tho, I'm sure it will work and be recognized by MC as a MIDI controller device, but I'm not sure how you plan to use it or for what.  your expectations of what it will do might be limited in MC.

Well both of them are supposed to be plug and play, I'll see how that goes. I plan on using the LPD 8 for percussion. As for the controller knobs I'm not sure, I'll just have to see what I might be able to do with them. I am excited about the LPK 25 though.

    Thanks for the help.

It should be fine for percussion.  you'll likely need to use a drum map to map to the softsynths you'll be using, tho.
