Vsynth + VS interface question

Hi , i'm wonderin we can use the vsynth without selecting the vs soundcard as the main sound card in sonar : exemple :

fireface 400 as input and outupt reference

don't know if i'm clear .....

    I'm not following you buddy. Have you set up the Fantom and got it working? Your inputs into Sonar can be anything you want or use. The Fantom sets up like any virtual synth in Sonar. When you set up the the Midi in the Fantom Editor you want Fantom VS 700 in all four boxs. I take you 've got the Console working and set up in the controllers window?

    no didn't received it yet (waitin still september "you will receive next week".....bof bof)
    my question is while the vsynth is using the inteface as dsp based....is possible to use the vsynth without using the vs interface as an audio card?

    Not that I know of Zo. The Fantom Synth is harware based, built into the V700R interface. The V700R is driver dependent and must be in use.

    ok , just the last question , can i not select the sound card in my audio option and still use the vsynth ?
