Sound bites, sound effects, samples....

Anyone know of a site that offers free sound effects samples etc. ? I'm doing a tune that has a quiet part in the middle that I'd like to lay some halloween sounds over. (I know halloween was last month). Any thoughts ?

    There are literally hundreds of sites where you can find free samples/sound effects/etc.
    Just do a web search for "free samples" or "free sound effects", you will be surprised the number of links.

    There is a site...I don't recall the address or name... where people can send in any type of sound they want...and the library is huge..... search and you will find it.

    I'm not sure if this is the sort of thing you're looking for, but The Freesound Project might be a good place to start.
