    I don't have 6PE so I can't comment on that.

I do have HS6XL and HS7XL. I like 7XL better as it's super easy to use, I like the looks of the new mixer, and it works great with my Windows 7 computer. Maybe it's because I already knew how to use 6XL, but 7XL was a snap for me to learn. It's very intuitive. I think it's a fantastic program !!

I agree:  7hs is very stable, intuitive and fun to use.  I'm just wondering about track counts, sound engine, work flow.  It looks like some people are closing out old stock of 6 PE.

Track count is plenty for me. Sound engine seems fine, everything sounds great. Work Flow ?? Easy as pie, seriously, I don't know what they could do to make it easier to use and keep the many features it has. I'm very happy with 7XL as it is. The only upgrade needed as far as I'm concerned is comapatibility with Windows 7-64 bit, which I believe is scheduled to be released early next year.
