how to get help for login to update to 8.5LE?

hi all,

had a puget systems computer built and got the asus xonar d2x that came with cakewalk bundle and ableton lite.

cakewalk included le versions of project 5, dimension, cakewalk vst 4, and sonar 6.2.

registered everything and got passcodes also printed them out each page for each piece of software. so i get email from cakewalk monthly and this weekend i get the $9.99 offer to upgrade to sonar 8.5 le.

the store won't let me login says my password is wrong. sent like 3 emails to support saturday and sunday, called there today and after 10 minutes on there phone cue without a person picking up i hung up as i was at work.

how does one get help around here from cakewalk.

    Hi,

I'm having same problem.  I have a registered Sonar LE and received email notice about upgrade.  I don't have a cakewalk store account (I'm pretty sure the registration and store databases are separate), so I added one using the same email address I registered the LE product with.  I tried to purchase the product but when I try to check out it says "You are not eligible to buy".

I just spoke with cakewalk sales and they indicated that there is a database issue with the store that they are working on now and hope to have fixed in the next few hours.... I think they are trying to sync the registration database with the store one.  They also offered to take my order over the phone.  I decided I'd prefer to buy it through the store (when it is working) so that there is a permanent online record of my purchase.  At any rate hopefully this will be resolved later in the day (it's 11am est now).  Also, make sure that when you create a store account, you use the email address you registered with.  The sales person said that is important.

    I ran into same issue.

I know that they are indeed having some kind of database problem.  My tech there was telling me that while they were updating some of their records, some folks accounts have split into two and thats where the problem is.  They can however merge them together and that takes care of it and when thats done then you are all set.  So if you just shoot an email, they can look it up and merge the accounts for you.  It can take up to a day or two, so if you think this may be your prob, u should send an email.

    Update...

The store still doesn't seem to recognize my registration.  I just went through the following steps and it seems to have fixed the issue for me.  These steps assume you've registered your LE product but didn't do it inside of your store account (which you may or may not have had).  In my case I did NOT have a store account.

    1) Create a cakewalk store account using the same email address you registered your LE product with.
    2) Sign into the account and select "My Account" from the menu bar across the top.
    3) Select "My Registrations" from the left menu bar.
    4) Your registered products would normally list here (if things were working properly).  In my case there were no products listed.
    5) Select the Register button and re-register your product.  Make sure you use the same email address!  You will receive an automated email from cakewalk with your registration code (the registration code I received matched the original one).
    6) Sign out of the store.
    7) Sign back into the store.
    8) Select "My Account" and then "My Registrations".  If all worked well then you should see your SONAR LE product listed now.

At this point you should be okay to purchase the SONAR LE 8.5 upgrade.  Hope this helps!
