Footswitch use for the BCF?

I am thinking of getting a footstich for my BCF. Trying to free my hands up a bit. Has anyone (Blades or Fastbikerboy???) using one successfully? If so which one do you recommend? Sorry if this is the wrong forum to be asking this, but I trust you guys here, so...please excuse if this annoys a few of you!

Thanks!

David

    I feel bad.....so I gotta pitch in.

I don't have a BCF2000, nor do I have any experience with it.

So I read up a bit and found you have a foot switch, and foot pedal input.  Which you can assign any control via midi learn or manually.  Then store to any of the 32 presets.

This is very similar to the inputs on the back of my Axiom 61.  I use an M-Audio foot pedal, but I'm sure any will work fine as long as it complies with the specs in the manual.  The switch could require latched or unlatched...etc.

I'd say at this point read up on the specs required then go purchase one locally.  Most places will let you try for a while and return if no good.

I know thats not the answer your looking for, but at least its something.

    Cheers

    Here's something.

How about using the footswitch for punch in/out to keep your hands free for playing...

Or maybe as a simple remote play/pause.

Connect a standard passive guitar volume pedal to the pedal input for continuous controlers.
