My First not so big prob with 8.51 please assist

I'm sure somehow this is an install prob, but I'm not a comp expert, anyway I included some photos to explain, 1st photo is the Icon of a saved CWB file, never seen one like this. second is what pops up when I click Icon, third is what happens when I chose a program (CW 8.5). now If I open Sonar first by using the Desktop Icon then click open project, it all opens fine. Just would like to solve this problem please.
Thanks
M/C
Peace

    Click "OK" on the dialog.
In the next dialog select "Sonar" and be sure "Always use this application" is ticked.

    This *Should* solve the problem.

"now If I open Sonar first by using the Desktop Icon then click open project, it all opens fine".

The above says to me that your file associations are not set correctly. Go to Windows Explorer> Tools> Folder Options>File Types and scroll down to CWB file type. Click on the file type and ensure it reads "opens with Sonar.exe".

What's the error on the 3rd picture say, it's too small to read?

Seeing as your other efforts don't seem to stick:

Just do an install of your current SONAR Version and when you get to the screen where you install suppport for all the various file types make sure that you check the box for .cwb

No need to reinstall or anything just repeat the install as I explained and it will set the switch for recognising this file type.

The icon in the third picture for Sonar.exe doesn't look right. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like a cocked up install, you may be in for a full uninstall.
