is the VS software win 7 64 bit compatible?

sorry if i missed this looking for the answer. wondering if the VS 100 and the VS software it comes with is win 7 64 bit compatible?

    The software is 32-bit, but it runs on Windows 7 64-bit. It won't take advantage of more memory like a 64-bit program would, just like any 32-bit software on Win 7 x64, but works fine/functionally. No issues.

    So it will only accept 32 bit VSTplugins and no 64 bit ones, right ?
