Not sure what you are saying here. If you mean a 24 bit, 44.1khz file, this would make sense, but it is not clear.

I sent a premastered version through yousendit, hope it worked and hope you like it. It's not my usual genre at all but it was a fun challenge and a great way to practise my mastering.

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

I think most people would know what he meant.

Anyway, good luck with your tune, loaded.

..."I think most people would know what he meant"...

Really? I still don't get it. How about enlightening me.

It was pretty safe to assume he meant 24bit wav file, but maybe that's just me.

Well, as you see in my post, I made that assumption also. But the kbps thing throws me. If it is an mp3 (commonly designated as kbps), then there would be no sense in my mind to even try to "master" it, it has already been damaged. And, a 24kbps mp3 would be an extremely condensed mp3, which would be even worse.

Of course, since he has not stopped back in, and I am tired of giving freebies away these days, it really doesn't much matter.

It just caught my eye, and I asked a question.
