Your favorite Math Limericks

I will start

Mathematically, it is

But when spoken, it becomes
A dozen, a gross, and a score
Plus three times the square root of four
Divided by seven
Plus five times eleven
Is nine squared and not a bit more.

Your turn

    Well I'll try..

    2 + 2 = 4

    2 plus a 2 it will add
if it sums 4 you score
anything else and you need pictures
and working at McDonalds is so sad.

    A mathematician confided
That a Möbius strip is one-sided.
    You'll get quite a laugh
If you cut it in half.
For it stays in one piece when divided.

A math teacher once was sad.
His luck in the restroom was bad.
    His colon was tensile,
so he worked it out with a pencil.
Just like the math problems he had.

    Let  x =  0   and  2x  also,
And   2x =  x  since both are zero.
         Divide each by x,
         Doesn't look complex,
You get  2  =  1 ,   taint so  you know.

His T.I. broke. he threw it in a bucket
    Did math in his head

I guess that permanently changes the interpretation of my T-Shirt that says "I am that man from Nantucket"

I guess I will have to get one printed that says "I am that young man from Brent"

With apologies to the late Kenny Everett:

High and dry in Colorado. Just up the road from Colorado Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak. We've got Deer, Bear, Coyotes, Mountain Lions, Elk... Haven't seen a Sea Cow 'round here yet... 'cept for Hannity the Manatee on the tube
