I would see one application for music recording:
If you could run Remote Desktop or VNC or TeamViewer on that thing, it would be nice for tracking.

I would use one(prolly 2nd or 3rd gen.) to run a controller app like Touch OSC. I use it now with my iPod but it is a bit too tiny an interface.
