Esoundz StevenSlate Expansion packs sale over??
It was about 10pm CST when I went to www.esoundz.com to purchase one more expansion pack to add to my no brainer deal (I have already copped the Essential Pop/Rock Vol. 2) but they're all back up at $59.95 instead of $30.00. And it's not even Midnight yet. And I didn't remember that these were going to end on the last day of February. So, as Fred Willard so aptly kept repeating in "A Mighty Wind"...WHA HAPPUN??

It seems to have been over for a few days. I was planning on getting the "classic rock" pack and found it was back up to full price, I may still get it, but later.

I did post if you recall. The price of $30 was incorrect. It was an error in pricing that they rectified fairly sharpish. Sales prices were intended only for people who took part in other promotions and those sale prices are still running. So if you got in on the $30 price then you got lucky. Always keep an eye on the software forum. Jind posted the links coincidently on the day the price was lowered. Those sales were honoured by esoundz.

Check this thread... first post has the coupon code you need to use for the 50%discounts for GB participants... http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=279269&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Ignore the rest of what the first post says, cuz it's still worded as though any esoundz customer can get the 50% off, which is not the case. For the coupon to work on more than one product it sounds like you need to make multiple purchases.

Quite simply they made a mistake and ended it. Poor communications meant it was never intended for people who had not participated in earlier promotions. They won't reverse it now. A rumour is circulating that other people may offer a deal further down the line but esoundz won't at the moment.

Thanks. I'll just wait for the next offer. I'm sure there'll be one. Lately there seem to be a LOT of offers.

I have had a word with the powers that be - purely as some bloke on a forum - as I don't know them - suggesting a review as they are losing quite a potential market. It doesn't affect me, though, because I'm all sorted. $59.95 is expensive when you consider the 'no brainer' was aimed at hooking people who probably would never have bought it at full price, or at all, as they already own enough drum software to sink a battleship. $60 may seem ok to someone who is really into SSD and was keen on buying the complete package but that's not who was buying the 'no brainer.' SSD point out they have sold many at $59.95 but they were people who bought SSD before the 'no-brainer' and were probably making SSD their drum software of choice. I suspect the majority of the 'no brainers' have other 'go to' programmes Many have expressed, prior to the sale being pulled, that they may only be interested in the odd kit in the expansions. $30 makes it doable, although still a bit costly, but $60 takes it out of reach. The likelihood is that at $30 a pop, people would have bought more than one and now, at $60, they won't consider buying any.

I was gonna buy at least 3 packs now I will buy none. Truthfully, they should have sent an email saying, "Oops, we screwed up." I had a few days to install the SSD No Brainer deal. I waited since I had other things to do and thought I had til the 15th to get these expansion packs. No dice. Not the end of the world, however.
