Newbie Voice Over Question

Greetings.
 
I'm teaching myself SONAR LE, which came bundled with my USB microphone.  Can someone advise me about which Cakewalk package is best suited for voiceover work.  I'm not a musician, and need only something for cut & pasting clips, as well as mixing with music and sound FX.  I have Audacity, the freeware program, but am looking for something a little more sophisticated.

    Is there any tutorial for users who discover this sort of software?

    I'm french, blond & a real newbie trying to use SONAR LE...

    SONAR LE should work fine for overdubbing voice.  You can do ducking with a side-chain compressor, or you can use track or clip envelopes to control amplitude of background tracks.
