Problems setting up Sonar 3 (yes, old tec)

I just upgraded my computer finally from a 386 (want a piece of junk?). But now, when I try to load soundfonts, that option is grayed out. Am I completely clueless? At least, I've gotten Garritan to work. Any suggestions, as I still like some of those old soundfonts.
