edirol fa66 an windows vista sonar home edition 7 xl

ive got my edirol interface drivers in place.  i changed the driver mode to asio but when i plug my speakers into the interface i am getting no sound.
and nothin from my mic records either. im using windows vista does anyone know if im missin a driver or why this is happening? i must add this is the first time ive ever set anything like this up b4 total newbie. when my speakers are plugged into the pc and i run mme 32 bit the speakers work fine but when i use the interface to run sound i get nothin. help please!!!
ok now i got everything running out the interface the mic and keyboard is all runnin right now however most of the sound is comin out my right speaker and nothin out my left and the mic is really low any suggestions?
