SONAR announced on the first day of the 2012 NAMM Winter Show (January 19) that SONAR X1d will be released in mid-February. One of the big new features for me is 64-bit Rewire support.

Will be released 29 Feb, as announced on the recent live Webinar. Watch out for the CakeTV anytime soon for the recorded Webinar to be uploaded, to have a peek what's inside X1d.

I'm sure at some point there will probably be an X2 in the future but I think you'll be in for a long wait. X1d is due on the 29th and I can't see them releasing a full patch update followed closely by a major upgrade.

    - Yeah, whatever that means...

Development is always just a snapshot in time what they release as a version.

Bugs is one thing - but new features after X1d is probably not to be seen.

Everything that Sonar 8.x had is definately not going to be there until X2.
