Can see recorded waveform but wipes out....

Newbe here, I can record live sounds through Mike and mixer ok. I can even record midi, great so far. The problem comes at odd times, I can record a midi track and see the waveform but when I play back as the curser (line showing where you are in the track) passes over the waveform it wipes it out, so there is no sound there, or waveform. Must be simple but can I sort it... No.
Help please. I have other problems but one thing at a time.

This is a not uncommon glitch, and to my knowledge, there is no known cause or cure.
In most of the cases I've read of in these forums, it usually just stops happening.
If it continues, an email to Support might be in order, or a phone call if you can handle the international toll and if LE allows phone support.
    Welcome to the forum.

Thanks Greg. Makes me feel a little better that others have the problem. I have spent a couple of evenings looking through the forums and found one mention of the same problem with no answers posted. You always think it must be something your doing wrong rather than it being a programme issue. When you start there is so much to learn and understand that even the explanations have words and actions that are completely foreign and may as well be in Chinese!
