URGENT: ezDrummer and X1

Hey,

I need some urgent help with this. Could anyone tell me how to apply ezdrummer or session drummer sound effects to a MIDI drum track.

So this is the thing. I write the drum track in Guitar Pro and export it as a MIDI file. Once I import this MIDI file into Sonar Producer X1, I want to use ezDrummer vst on this track so as to get realistic drum sounds. All the help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Just like any other synth:
Insert EZ Drummer with no midi tracks and with as many audio tracks as you want.
Assign the MIDI tracks's output to EzDrummer.

Hey thanks for the reply. Could you please tell me the steps to set the output to ezDrummer because when I import the MIDI track, there is no option available to set the out for the track. Thanks

    laiho11,

After you insert the soft synth (which created audio track/s), then go to the MIDI track and click on the "O" button and select the down arrow and you will see ezDrummer.

Look at my example and just know that I am using BFD2 but it is the exact same concept, so in my example just substitute BFD2 for ezdrummer.

Notice how Track 10 (which is MIDI for the Ride/Crash) is "O"utput to BFD2 1

Note "BFD2 1"  is the first instance of BFD2 in my project. If I inserted another instance of BFD2 it would default to "BFD2 2".

Also note that I have a track 9 (which is MIDI for the Hi Hat). I can "O"utput it to "BFD2 1" or ANY other inserted soft synth I choose.
