No Audio Effects in X2?
I got Sonar Studio X2 and there are no audio effects at all. Sonar 8 Studio came with Sonitus and EQs and Choruses and stuff like that. Does anyone know what's up? Thanks a lot. Zoltan

Have you had a look in your VST folders in Preferences (press P) You may need to manually input them and then rescan.

Ah, you were right. They're in the browser menu/VST Plug-ins/Audio Effects. Thanks guys.

I still can't get the audio effects that I see in the browser window to appear in the Apply Effects menu. I tried rescanning and I added the audio effects folder but it hasn't worked. I'm trying to access audio effects and not instruments and VSTs are just instruments, aren't they? Thanks in advance for your help.

There are VST effects and instruments. To add an effect to an audio track drag it from the browser and drop it into the effects bin or right-click in the effects bin and add the effect from the Audio FX menu.

Yes you're looking in the wrong place. You don't want the Apply Effects menu, just do what scook said and you'll be good to go.
