Is the OLD store already gone...?
I just tried to find my old account page and can no longer find it. We were able to open it up as of a week or two ago. The new account page does not show all of our purchases (which the old one did) and I was hoping the old account page would still be accessible. Am I just looking in the wrong place or is the old account page actually gone?

Hay, I am in the same boat here, a few hours ago I tried to long into my account and it says no account for my user name... So I went to set up a SSO account and it says my email address (same as old user name) is being used. So I go to lost password... That says my email address (user name) done not exist. yet I get email from my account email address... Edit: SSO said to use old email address to link to new account to have access to my old account info.

The SSO is the ID you are posting with now. The SSO is the single sign on for the forum, your cakewalk account and new store.

I'm still missing things too, but I just sent in a request for the guys to look into it. I'm not sure if I'll ever need any of that stuff, but who knows? My X1 and X2 and Concrete Limiter isn't listed, I'm not sure what all is gone.

This email address is irrelevant to my account, maybe it would matter if Cakewalk would have combined the "cakewalk site" to one email address in the first place. If I sign out of the forum and sign into my Store user account, they are separate as "cakewalk" wanted it in the past. My Store user account's email is up to date as of like a few weeks ago when I stopped by. You have this backwards... Logically the Store account should have come first as the primary account because that's where all the purchases are stored, other wise everyone who try's to link his forum account will have no " purchases" like the guy that stated this post. I'm sorry but this idea was NOT thought out! and now where is my account? You know the one that goes with my login, to my store account, showing my purchases? I cant set up a forum account that links to my real account because it already exists... NICE JOB!

Andrasin, I suggest you get in touch with Cakewalk. They will fix everything.

This is how it should have went down! Everyone who has purchases from cakewalk needs to use there OLD store account to login to it link it to their existing forum account. That way your purchases will not be lost!

This was discussed right after the new store was launched. I did have the foresight to copy and paste everything in my old account just in case the old pages were deleted. I have everything listed in a txt file (less formatting of course) :) .

lol... and anyone who really ever goes to the forum??? and NEVER reads the cakewalk email because after 9 years of ads it just gets old... Assuming that most people spend ALL of their free time reading this forum was an ignorant assumption. I stand by my statement! They did NOT think this through! when Cakewalk sets up a system.. "log into store", "see all my items" "buy more stuff" why would they just PULL the whole thing and replace it with ? WHAT!? God forbid the forum folks loose their post counts! lets delete the sale account access.

They can't even associate my current login with my previous forum username. Which even I can see in the Member list.
At least I can see all of my purchases back to 7 (everything prior to that was deleted quite some time ago).
This SSO thing puts me in the mind of a monkey and a football...
Oh well, I guess someone needed to justify their existence at CW.

First of all, I was not pointing my comment at you...just because it was right after your post...it was a generalized statement. If people don't visit the forums or scan through some of the emails from Cakewalk, they'll never know what's going on...and it doesn't have to be "ALL of their free time". Just because you don't, and haven't...doesn't mean others don't. (I see you joined 12 hours ago). There is a wealth of information shared here on a daily basis from lots of folks, including Cakewalk staff. By the way...your statement up there in bold.... that is the ignorant assumption. There are a LOT of people who frequent these forums quite regularly....and that statement is nothing short of a slap in the face to those who spend their time trying to help others.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. That is what people have been doing since about last June when SSO was switched on. On the SSO signup page (not the login page) there are two options, I already have an account, and I don't have an account. Most of the issues have occurred due to mismatches between forum email and store email. Just fill in the support request on the feedback form, as already posted, and it will be sorted out for you. It may take a little time as lots of people messed this up, including me!! but the Admins (not us Hosts) have tools to manually link your accounts as long as you tell them. Because it is manual, and there are a lot of people in the queue, you will have to be patient.

There's been alot problems with products disappearing that I've seen and it happened to me. I just want to help other that had same issue. Andrasin, where it asks for your forum user name, type Andrasin instead of your email. I had same exact problem i was trying to use my email user name. I also made the mistake of using a new email for my SSO account. So NONE of my products were displayed. I simply updated My Account and changed my email to my old one again and all my products came back to me safe and sound. -Hope this helps-
