Cool dog, upgraded ProChannel and incredible support these days

I just wanted to express my happiness with Sonar, its progress and Cakewalk support these days!

First of all, the Dog is really cool. I've been using resonant filters often, always having to sacrifice 2 bands on the ProChannel EQ plus a quick group ... now the Dog is there, ready to take out for a walk - and you can blend it with the direct signal - love it - simple and effective !

Second, with David Bendeth's EQ and Compressor, REmatix Solo and the Dog added, the ProChannel got a serious upgrade - really love that, too ... I reckon I should force myself to use FX chains more often, keep forgeting that I can stick those into the PC as well.

Last, but not least a short story: Saturday 2 a.m. after a long work session, I drop a question into forum about an issue with the Dog. By the time I got up again in the morning, I had a PM from Noel with a potential fix to the situation ... truly incredible support, wouldn't have expected anything like that, especially on a weekend. Two thumbs up, Cakewalk!

<< so while I wasn't sure whether I'd even need Platinum as X3e did it all, I'm now a total fanboy for Platinum and the new way of doing upgrades & support >>

Edit: I wanted to put that post into the Sonar forum, but stupid me ended up placing it in feature request... hmmm ...

scook deserves some mega props for all the help he gave over the weekend, both in terms of solving problems and seeking clarification on points of confusion.

We are indeed lucky that people like him and Noel are on the case.

I'd just like to add this release was a first time, with a lot of moving parts. Just think what the experience will be like in a couple more months...

I don't often post much as I am busy but I have been a cakewalk user since day 1.
Its is great to see how the company has evolved over the years and its DAW user base is growing.
A big thank you to the Bakers.
