Is changing from monthly to annual automatic or do I still have to contact support?

Hi guys

After making the required 12 consecutive payments (from Jan 2015 to Dec 2015 inclusive) I decided to purchase the one time annual payment for Sonar Platinum to include the next 12 months membership .

Note:
I cancelled the monthly payments after purchasing the annual membership  - I used the cancellation link in the 12th monthly payment confirmation email I received in December 2015

The purchase of the one time annual membership was done from the Cakewalk store using my Cakewalk account (the one I have only ever used). This purchase was made on Dec 22, 2015.  The 12th monthly payment was done on 17 Dec 2015

The entry for this one time payment does appear on my Cleverbridge account (along with the monthly payments)

The question I have is do I still have to contact Cakewalk support to get them to advance my Sonar Platinum expiry date by one year (which, at this time, still sits at 7 Jan 2016) or are there systems now in place at Cakewalk to handle the expiry date change automatically based on what I have purchased.

There's been several folks asking similar questions recently for all sorts of update scenarios.

Having had discussions in various threads, rest assured it's being sorted out and there'll be an announcement when they are ready.

Don't forget the earliest date anyone's membership runs out wil be in January. It was released on Jan 21st so no one's membership should expire before that. On top of that its been stated several times that Cakewalk will give a 2 week grace period when changes are made so that should give everyone an adequate buffer if your renewal process isn't sorted out automatically.

There is a sticky thread at the beginning of the forum that specifically addreses FAQ for those who have changed their method of payment. So I'd suggest you check that as the current status as well.

Just checked my Sonar Platinum "Help About" and it now says "Valid Through Thu 05 Jan 2017 - Status: Owned"

Looks like in my case , the change from monthly to annual is automatic.  I did not have to contact support (unless they read this thread)
