Update SONAR for another year

I dont know how to tag a message from cakewalk, but I found it and copied the answer from Willy Jones from Cakewalk. Hopefully this will answer some questions.

Hi Everyone,
 
I'd like to clarify a few things. Please bear with us since we weren't expecting some of these things to crop up until January so have not turned on all the parts that handle successive annual purchases. So consider this a 'mini-faq'.
 
1] What happens when I purchase or redeem a second 12 month SONAR membership?
If you do not already own a current version you will get everything included with SONAR. If you already own a current version at time of redeeming on our website:
a) You will not get another Melodyne serial number
b) You will not get another XLN serial number
c) You will not be issued a second SONAR serial number
d) You will have the end date for your membership pushed out 12 months from the date of redemption or purchase*
 
The only exceptions to a and b are if you purchase an academic or volume license for multiple seats.
 
* This is not the desired behavior, we should have it corrected by next week so that your 12 months is added to the end of your current/active membership
 
2] I took advantage of a sweet offer but Help > About screen in SONAR tells me I didn't get the time added to my existingmembershipYes we know, please see question #1. If you are in this situation please call or email our Customer Service folks and we can correct it for you.
 
3] Why doesn't my upgrade include more licenses of any bundled programs?
So that we can keep the upgrade prices lower. Occasionally we may change bundled offers and sometimes bundled offers are only available for a limited time.
 
4] Will I get a new serial number when extending/renewing/purchasing another SONAR membership?
No, this is by design so that authorization just 'works' without requiring you to copy/paste the new serial number or change any settings. 
 
5] What happens when I purchase another 12 months of SONAR updates?
You will continue to get updates through your 'Membership End Date' as well as any special offers or content that we release.
 
6] What happens when my membership expires
 
If you made 12 monthly payments OR purchased annually just keep making music. You will however no longer receive any updates released after your Membership End Date. If you were paying monthly and did not make 12 payments SONAR will go into demo mode.
 
7] Where can I find this magical 'Membership End Date' ?
Today you can find it within SONAR by clicking Help > About, We will be adding it to the My Account pages on our website soon.
 
Hope that helps - if you did take advantage of the deal in question and have not redeemed yet I would suggest holding off until later so you don't have to call/email our customer service team to have your date adjusted.
