sonar no longer available on steam?

sonar has dropped off steam, just a demo for the steam version is left, though no actual steam version to buy...
 
i can't find any info anywhere, like they were never there, even the discussions are gone!but the cakewalk site says they are available (http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/By-Category/Products-on-Steam)
 
what happened? i got z3ta+2 via steam - is that also like to be disappeared?

    We took down the old (2015) packages so that we can offer new SONAR (2016) packages. We're rolling over to a new AppID and refocusing the STEAM delivery model a bit to help simplify for new and existing users. Regular upgrade prices are expected to return.

    Last official response about steam version is almost month old, it would be nice to know what is happening.

    the thing that puzzled me was that you can't get to any sonar2015 info (except for the demo store page) in the steam client, which is what i always use for steam (duh) but i now see it's all still visible via web (& google of course)

    I got into this daw stuff when cakewalk was on steam- I dont know how sales went, but I would suppose I am not alone- this pc/midi stuff really made a connection here, steam can reach a lot of folk who would never have considered or known what was available. I think it would be a loss for cakewalk to withdraw from steam. I believe steam is the modern day equivalent to the printing-press. Not just games anymore.
