Cakewalk subscription double payment again!!!!

Unfortunately I also had this experience. The problem appears to have been resolved by 
a) Calling Cakewalk to confirm that my payments were indeed up to date. For me, an international call.
b) Having the Cakewalk help person confirm that for some reason I seemed to have two Sonar Platinum accounts.
c) E-mailing Cleverbridge and being very clear as to my only wanting one account (specifying their code number system) and requesting that they repay the erroneous debit from my account. Which they did.
 
This happened on two occasions and of course the irritating/anxiety causing aspect of the whole experience is starting the DAW, only to be greeted with a demo mode notification...when you have deadlines.

Hey - Kenny, if you are able to participate in I believe about 5 more posts, it will put you over the minimum threshold to be able to both send and receive Private Messages, which will DEFINITELY benefit you.
 
There is a Songs forum, where folks are looking for people to listen to and provide feedback to their songs, and there are all kinds of interesting threads in the Coffee House you might enjoy jumping in on.
 
So, once you get to where you CAN do Private Messages, you can try sending one to one or more of the senior Cakewalk staff, and they REALLY try to help get these kinds of issues resolved right away.
 
In the meantime, since you are not quite to where you can send any Private Messages, I will construct and send one to a couple of the Cakewalk folks, and IF someone happens to be around on this holiday, perhaps they can get you sorted out - if they are off because of the holiday they will still see it Tuesday morning.
 
So, it is just after 5:00 PM here in the Chicago area, and in the next 5-10 minutes, I will indeed send that PM on your behalf, to see if that can help get your issues resolved.
 
I have done this same kind of thing for 2-3 other folks in the past couple of days, and they both had their issues resolved, so I have a high confidence that they will have the right people put on it to get you squared away.

Hi - has there been any response from Cakewalk to you as of yet, regarding your account issues?
 
If not, it looks like you have a high enough forum post count to where you can send a Private Message yourself - perhaps to Jim Lima, and Noel.
 
If you explain to them that I had already sent them a PM on your behalf (which Jim had responded to me with an indication that he had forwarded the issue on to someone), I would think Jim would hopefully follow through to make SURE you get squared away.
 
In any case, please post back with any updates - even if it is that there weren't any as of yet.

Well, that IS good news indeed.
 
If you get a moment, can you please edit the subject of your first post in this thread and add something like 'Solved'?  That will help other readers know that you get things sorted out, rather than them reading down through the thread to find out they don't need to jump in to try to assist with stuff.
 
Again, FABULOUS that they got you squared away.  They are a small bunch of folks, and they are trying to make some tweaks to the support process, and things DO sometimes get lost in it all, but they really do try to address these kinds of issues as best as possible.
