15% Discount

Cakewalk sent me a 15% discount.
I tried to apply it to lifetime updates.
The original price was $199.
When I put in the promo code the for the discount, the priced changed to $424.
Has anyone else had this problem?

    Yes, I had something similar.  Tried to buy the upgrade from Artist to Platinum and the price went up when I added the 15% promo code.  It looked like it was taking 15% off the full purchase price and ignoring the fact I was upgrading from Artist.

    I had exactly the same problem like thread opener.
    I contacted the support and they solved the issue for me, after this i could apply my 15% code to the update.

    A handful of coupons that didn't respect upgrade pricing were fixed earlier this week.
    If you had one remove any items from your cart, re-add them and apply the coupon.

    I have sent emails with questions about lifetime updates. So far no replies.  I also asked earlier why some are offered discounts for lifetime updates and some are not.
     
    Why would I be excluded?
